A man has been sentenced to 40 years in state prison in the kidnapping and sexual assault of his ex-girlfriend. Jesse Meneses, 38, of Dover, was sentenced on Thursday on a guilty verdict that was returned by a Morris County jury in February, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. The jury found him guilty of two counts of kidnapping, three counts each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and criminal sexual contact and several other charges related to making threats and tampering.
