A 40-year-old who grabbed the throat of his former friend and punched him was given a restraining order. Johnathan Dono, of Greens Lane in Tilney All Saints, appeared at Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, where he was sentenced for assault by beating. In a previous hearing, Dono admitted the offence, which took place on January 22 in Brandon. The court heard that Dono had grabbed the victim by the throat and punched him.
