Honor is preparing to announce the Honor Magic V3 series of folding phones in China on July 12. At the same event, the company will remove the covers from the MagicBook Air 15 laptop and MagicPad 2 tablet. Ahead of the launch, the company confirmed several details about the tablet. Here is an overview of what to expect from the device.
Design.
Official images of the Honor MagicPad 2 show that it will be available in black, white, and blue colors. The IMAX Enhanced inscription mentioned on the back of the device promises HDR capability, offering greater detail, brighter highlights, and a wider color gamut for a more cinematic viewing experience. The lack of metal contact points on the device suggests that the device may offer Bluetooth keyboard connectivity.
The round camera module contains a single camera and an LED flash. On the front, it has thin bezels around the 12.3-inch screen.
Specifications (rumored)
According to DCS, Honor MagicPad 2 will feature a 12.3-inch OLED panel with a 3K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and ultra-high-frequency eye shielding. According to previous leaks, the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
The top-end version of MagicPad 2 will have 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Unfortunately, there is no information about cameras, battery, or charging capabilities.
