The United States will station Tomahawk cruise missiles in Germany in order to strengthen NATO’s military deterrent in Europe, according to a joint statement by the two countries’ governments on Wednesday. The statement, issued on the sidelines of a NATO summit in Washington, said “episodic deployments” of the long-range missiles will begin in 2026.
