NJ Transit’s Gladstone Branch rail service remains suspended Wednesday evening after a utility wire fell in the morning and affected rail infrastructure earl, officials said. “A JCP&L wire came in contact with the catenary (wire) causing damage to the catenary and signal system,” said Jim Smith, an NJ Transit spokesperson.
