Music, song and dance will fill the streets of the market town for the 6th year this weekend. The Newark Traditional Festival, a non-profit community event, will return from this Friday (July 19) until Saturday (July 20). The festival celebrates the history and culture of Britain’s dances, songs, music, crafts and heritage. It begins on Friday evening with rapper sword and clog dancing in some of Newark’s pubs.
