The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday asked the Nigerian Government to release its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on the grounds of ill health. Emma Powerful, the spokesman of the group, said the Nigerian government was provoking IPOB by refusing to release Kanu.
