The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched one of the most anticipated services in Diia – electronic reservations. From now on, managers of critical enterprises and those that meet the needs of the Defense Forces can reserve employees through the Diia portal.
Speed up reservations
“The key goal of introducing reservations through Diia is to speed up the process as much as possible by making it automated and reducing waiting times as much as possible,” says Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
According to her, preliminary testing has shown that it takes about an hour to reserve an employee through Diia. All the necessary information will be available to the manager in his or her e-office. For the employee who received the reservation, the information will be updated in their Reserve+ application. Those who want to receive a paper version of the booking confirmation will also have this option
The service speeds up the booking process by up to an hour, eliminates the human factor, and reduces the workload of ministry employees. Previously, information on reservations for Ukrainians liable for military service was checked manually, sometimes taking weeks.
How the reservation on the Diia portal works
- The head of the company submits the lists of employees liable for military service for booking on the Diia portal and certifies the application with an electronic signature.
- The system will automatically check whether the person is officially employed and whether the data is available in the Oberig register.
- Action will send a notification to the manager about the result of the review within a day.
If the decision is positive, the employee’s booking information appears in the Reserve+ app. From that moment on, they are considered booked. Subsequently, you can download the booking statement on the Diia portal and print it out if necessary.
Testing and acceleration
“E-reservation through the Diia portal is available to businesses and institutions that are critical. The service works in a few clicks, and the result should not take longer than an hour,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology.
In his opinion, the digitalization of the process eliminates the human factor, as all data is checked automatically, and the manager understands in real time who was booked and who was not, and the reason for the refusal.
Before the service was launched, a closed beta test took place, during which companies booked 929 employees.
“Previously, the booking process was quite complicated. And due to the loss of data, we had to re-apply people. The new service without a human factor on the Diia portal will make booking fast and transparent. The result will be automatically displayed in the Reserve+ application,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko.
Who can’t take the service?
The Diia portal indicates who will not be able to receive the service:
- Individual entrepreneurs and individuals;
- a legal entity that is not included in the Unified List;
- a legal entity whose grounds for inclusion in the Unified List have expired;
- a legal entity that has ceased its activities.
The service is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation jointly with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy with the support of the Digital Transformation Support Project funded by USAID and UK Dev.
