Frustration over school funding cuts has led another district to consider filing a lawsuit against the state. The Jackson school board authorized its board attorney to take “appropriate legal action against the Department of Education” to get enough funding to provide students with an efficient education, school board president Giuseppe Palmeri said Wednesday during a livestreamed board meeting. “We hope this can be avoided, but we do not remain hopeful given the prior course of events,” said Palmeri.
