McCarthy, the No. 10 overall pick to the Minnesota Vikings, was one of very few NFL rookies to have not signed their first contract until doing so Friday, according to reports. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, McCarthy is signing a four-year, fully-guaranteed contract worth $21.85 million that includes a $12.71 million signing bonus. The Vikings also have a fifth year team option.
