Ole Miss baseball legend Lance Lynn on Tuesday became the sixth active pitcher in Major League Baseball to reach 2,000 strikeouts. Lynn, in his 13th season, hit the milestone against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Lynn gave up four hits and three walks over five scoreless innings of an eventual 2-1 win for his St. Louis Cardinals. He struck out two. The 37-year-old Lynn has now held opponents to two runs or fewer in four of his last five outings.
