Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia had a season to forget last term after managing to make just one appearance. Romeo Lavia was a big-money signing for Chelsea, but the former Southampton man missed practically the whole 2023/24 campaign because of injury. He has returned to full fitness, though, and was able to play 45 minutes in the Blues’ 2-2 draw with Wrexham. His team-mate and new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall missed the game because of injury, however.
