The people of Ishienu Amofu Peoples Assembly have rejected the purported emergence of Chief Michael Christian Ogbonnaya as the Igwe of Ishienu Amofu Nkerefi, in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. They asked Governor Peter Mbah not to recognise anyone as the traditional of the community as no election had been held. This comes after Ogbonnaya was announced as the new monarch of the community.
