At least 12 people were killed and six more injured in a mudslide caused by flash flooding in China’s central Hunan province, state broadcaster CCTB reported on Saturday morning. A single-storey building, reported to be a house rented out to tourists, in the village of Yuelin was swept away by a landslide caused by heavy rains brought on by Typhoon Gaemi, according to the report.
