A woman has been charged with murder after a man was found dead in a block of flats. Police were called to Gun Lane in Strood at around 12.30am on Friday, July 26 where officers found the body of a man in his 60s. Nina Mercer, 42, who was known to the victim, was arrested at around 4am the same day. Mercer, also of Gun Lane, was later charged with murder and remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
