Fifteen workers at German chemical company BASF suffered minor injuries in a fire caused by an explosion at the main plant in Ludwigshafen, the company and police said on Monday. The employees were examined in the plant ambulance as a precautionary measure, but were able to leave again afterwards, the company said.
