Xiaomi’s next T-series smartphone, the Xiaomi 14T, seems to be close to launch. It was recently spotted on the NBTC certification website in Thailand, which, while not revealing many details, confirms some key points.
The NBTC certification confirms that the model number “2406APNFAG” belongs to the base version of the Xiaomi 14T. The listing also indicates support for 5G connectivity, which is a standard feature in most modern smartphones.
This discovery follows previous appearances of the smartphone on other certification sites, such as IMDA in Singapore and Telecom Authority in Indonesia. In addition, the model number 2406APNFAG has appeared in the EEC certification database, indicating that Xiaomi is also preparing to launch the 14T smartphone in Europe.
In terms of specifications, a previous report suggests that the Xiaomi 14T could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8000 series chipset, possibly Dimensity 8100 or 8200. There are also rumors that the device may support 67W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Pro variant of the Xiaomi 14T series was recently spotted on the Geekbench database, indicating a more powerful configuration. It will likely be equipped with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300+ SoC and support faster 120W wired charging along with wireless charging support. Notably, Xiaomi 14T Pro may be the first in the T-series lineup to support wireless charging.
Although the NBTC certification doesn’t reveal many details about the smartphone, its frequent appearances on certification websites suggest that its launch may be imminent.
We can expect the Xiaomi 14T series to appear on additional certification platforms in the coming weeks, which could reveal more specific details about the device’s specs and availability. We will keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.
