A bowls club has been given the green light to expand its car park as it continues to face high demand. Gordon Edgar, the chairman of Sudbury Bowls Club, in Quay Lane, submitted plans to Babergh District Council in May, seeking to extend its car park, which were approved on Thursday. Usable space for parking would be widened following engineering work to a ditch at the site, used for surface water drainage.
