World champion Sha’Carri Richardson of the United States reached the 100 metres final at the Paris Olympics while Jamaican twice gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce pulled out just minutes before her race in a big shock. It was not clear immediately why the 37-year-old Fraser-Pryce withdrew, with first reports suggesting she hit a hurdle during the warm-up.
