OnePlus is reportedly working on next-generation models under the Ace brand for the Chinese market. Over the weekend, Digital Chat Station published a post on Weibo claiming that the Ace 5 series of smartphones will be announced by the end of this year in China. The leak also suggested that the brand might announce two models, OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro.
OnePlus Ace 5 main features (rumored)
The aforementioned Weibo post suggests that the OnePlus Ace 5 will have a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO screen. The screen will have a resolution of 1.5 thousand dots and micro curvature.
OnePlus Ace 3 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5500 mAh battery. It looks like the Ace 5 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on board. As for the battery, the Ace 5 will have a massive 6,200 mAh dual-cell battery with 100W fast charging support.
The leak also shows that the Ace 5 will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with a large sensor. Finally, the device will also have a notification slider. Other details of the phone are being kept under wraps. It is assumed that the same phone may be rebranded as OnePlus 13R in the global market.
The specifications of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro have not yet been revealed. While it will most likely be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, the OnePlus 13, which is expected to debut in early October or November, may also feature the same chip. While the Ace 5 Pro focuses mainly on performance, the OnePlus 13 will be an all-rounder, including stellar cameras.
