A man was gashed by a propeller when he fell off a pontoon boat at the Jersey Shore over the weekend, according to New Jersey State Police. The incident happened off Cape May around 7:35 p.m. Saturday, State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan told NJ Advance Media. The 51-year-old man was thrown off the boat’s bow when the vessel passed through a large wake, Marchan said. He suffered injuries to his arm and abdomen, Marchan said.
