A suspect has been charged with assisting an offender after a man was found dead in a block of flats. Police were called to Gun Lane in Strood at around 12.30am on Friday, July 26 where officers found the body of a man in his 60s. A woman, named Nina Mercer, was charged on suspicion of murder on July 29. Now, a second suspect has been charged in connection with the death of the man named in court documents as Alan Tomkins.
