Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones for China. Last month, China’s radio certification platform approved three upcoming Xiaomi phones with model numbers 24115RA8EC, 24094RAD4C, and 24094RAD4C. The country’s 3C body has reportedly approved the 24090RA29C variant. When it appears on the market, it is likely that the device will be branded as Redmi Note 14.
Redmi Note 14 3C certification
The 3C certificate of Redmi 24094RAD4C indicates that it can be shipped with the MDY-17-EE charger. As a reminder, the Redmi Note 13 with the Dimensity 6080 chipset was equipped with 33W fast charging. As for the Note 14, it looks like the new charger will support fast charging with up to 45W.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the Redmi Note 14 are unknown. The 3C certification is a good hint that the device could be unveiled either by the end of this month or in September.
A recent report revealed that the Redmi Note 14 will also have global and Indian variants. The corresponding model numbers, such as 24094RAD4G and 24094RAD4I, have already appeared in the IMEI database. It is likely that the Note 14 series will appear in other markets in January 2025.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7350 chipsets will reportedly power the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+, respectively. Both devices are expected to feature a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back and a 1.5K resolution OLED screen with curved edges.
