Tommy Wagg struck a superb six-goal haul as King’s Lynn Soccer Club lifted some early season silverware following an emphatic cup final display. The Anglian Combination side were the winners of the Spalding Guardian Cup after a convincing 9-1 victory over Swineshead Institute Reserves in the final of the competitive pre-season competition. Wagg led the scoring spree by netting six of Lynn’s seven goals in the opening 49 minutes of the final at Holbeach United’s Carter’s Park ground.
