An urgent appeal has been launched for a “violent” patient who could be at risk to women after he escaped from a care facility. Police are urging people not to approach Balasankar Narayanan after he broke free from an east London care institution on Sunday. The 44-year-old was last seen at 6.40pm when he ran away from staff at a park while on escorted leave from the Ilford facility. The Metropolitan Police have warned that the patient “can be violent and is considered a risk to women”. Members of the public have been urged not to approach him.
