Crude oil and gasoline prices retreated on Tuesday as Iran has yet to attack Israel. Crude prices surged Monday to a 3-week high on fears of an imminent attack against Israel by Iran in response to last month’s assassination of a Hamas leader by Israel in Iran. Weakness in the crude crack spread is a negative factor for crude prices.
