A 26-year-old Haitian man accused of aggravated rape of a child was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on August 13th. Cory Bernard Alvarez was taken into custody near his Brockton residence after being released on bail by a local court despite an ICE detainer request. Alvarez, who entered the U.S. legally in June 2023, was arrested by Rockland Police in March on charges of aggravated rape of a child.
