Werder Bremen and the city of Bremen are to host a joint memorial service at the Bremen Cathedral to remember the long-serving club general manager and former state senator Willi Lemke, who died on Monday. The event is expected to take place on August 23, said Martina Lange, head of the cathedral chancery. Lemke died at the age of 77 as a result of a brain haemorrhage.
