Two prolific shoplifters with a haul of beer and chocolate have been caught by a beat team, with the assistance of rota one, a police dog and drone. Officers from the Sherwood beat team had been looking for the pair all shift, and caught the offenders yesterday (August 15) after the shop worker’s tip-off came through in the final hour. They had just witnessed a theft from another store in Ollerton. Officers located the pair on Sherwood Drive and a foot chase took place. The female was detained and arrested.
