A 67-year-old has been charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred in Weehawken on Thursday night. Juan Perez was arrested by detectives after an investigation into the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Jhonnier Gamboa Acosta, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. He is charged with murder and weapons offenses related to the gun allegedly used in the killing.
