On Aug. 14, Ukrainian Human Rights Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets stated that the Kremlin-appointed Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, initiated discussions on a prisoner exchange. Lubinets also mentioned that, over the past two weeks, Ukrainian forces have captured 2,000 Russian servicemembers, including conscripts, FSB border guards, and members of Chechen units from Akhmat.
