‘The Acolyte’ has been cancelled after just one season. The ‘Star Wars’ spin off show – which debuted earlier this year and showed the rise of the Sith around 100 years before ‘The Phantom Menace’ – has been scrapped despite the first series ending on a cliffhanger.
