Although he didn’t score against Leicester City during his Tottenham Hotspur debut, Dominic Solanke impressed on the whole at the King Power. Ange Postecoglou decided to start his big-money signing immediately, and Solanke did appear to fit seamlessly into Spurs’ forward line. Solanke wasn’t able to take one of his chances, but he did demonstrate all that he can offer to Postecoglou as a spearhead of his team. The England striker was full of industry and determination – not deterred by any early misses in the game. Perhaps the only concern attached to his debut may be Son Heung-min’s struggles…
