A dangerously out-of-control dog bit a man at St Michael’s Mead in Bishop’s Stortford. The victim was working on a vehicle in Salters when the animal – described as white, with black and brown markings – approached and sunk its teeth into his leg, causing an injury. When he asked the man with the dog for his details, the male refused and walked off. Hertfordshire police said he was of “a mixed ethnic background, around 6ft tall, with dreadlocks and was wearing jogging bottoms”. He was with two other men.
