Nottingham Forest had a pretty low-key transfer deadline day by their usual standards, with just two new players being added to the squad. James Ward-Prowse checked in from West Ham for the season, whilst Morato penned a five-year contract with Forest after joining from Benfica. In total, 11 new players were added, with two of them – Marko Stamenic and David Carmo – both immediately joining Olympiacos on loan.
