Howard Cox, founder of FairFuel UK, has slammed the idea that petrol and hybrid vehicles are being restricted by manufacturers over fears they will be fined under net zero rules. Car brands are required to have 22 per cent of total sales come from electric and hydrogen vehicles by the end of the year as part of the Zero Emission Vehicle mandate.
