HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. \- A Spring Hill man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison following his arrest in April 2023 for possessing child pornography. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received information that Steven Sims, 49, might be in possession of child pornography. Deputies executed a search warrant at Sims’ residence on April 5, 2023, and discovered a cellphone containing at least 10 files of child pornography.
