Election officials in the eastern German state of Saxony have declared more than 100 ballots suspected of being manipulated as invalid, a move that will not affect the official outcome of state parliamentary elections. “The distribution of seats won’t change,” the head of the electoral commission in the state capital Dresden, Markus Blocher, said following a session of the body on Thursday.
