German police investigating the suspected attempted terror attack outside the Israeli consulate in Munich have interviewed around 100 witnesses, a police spokesman said on Monday. The special police commission looking into the attack has not yet found any further evidence to support the “working hypothesis” that the 18-year-old shooter was motivated by Islamism or anti-Semitism, the spokesman for Bavaria’s State Criminal Police Office (BLKA) said.
