Police are appealing for the public’s help as they search for a missing 16-year-old. Olivia Sands was last seen in the Canterbury Road area of Hawkinge, near Folkestone at about 7.40pm yesterday (Monday). She is white and described as being around 5ft 8, with a slim build, shoulder-length, brown hair and blue eyes. The teenager was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black leggings and black trainers. Officers concerned for her welfare say she has connections to Canterbury. They are urging anyone who sees her, or knows of her whereabouts, to call 999 quoting reference 09-1309.
