The hunt is on in Bishop’s Stortford for an elusive pet guinea pig that is believed to have travelled almost nine miles (13.9km) over two and a half weeks having escaped its home in Roydon during a burglary. The family of three-year-old Autumn believes sightings of the brown and white guinea pig on the banks of the River Stort this week are indeed that of their beloved pet.
