The Acting Inspector-General of Police in Kenya, Gilbert Masengeli has been sentenced to six months in prison for contempt by the country’s High Court. In his ruling on Friday, Justice Lawrence Mugambi gave Masengeli seven days to surrender himself to the Commissioner-General of Prisons to commence his prison term.
