The northern Israeli city of Safed has come under fire from militant forces, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on Saturday. The IDF said 55 missiles and drones were intercepted by Israeli air defences or hit uninhabited areas, with no injuries recorded. The strikes did cause a fire in nearby vegetation, local media reported.
