The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has commenced airlift missions to transport relief materials to victims of flood disasters in Maiduguri and its surrounding communities. A statement by the Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Kabiru Ali indicated that the materials donated by the Nigerian Customs Service are aimed at alleviating the suffering caused by the floods, which have disrupted the daily lives of residents, destroyed properties and displaced millions.
