We may just be into mid September and it seems early to mention ‘the C word’, but plans are already underway for this year’s Christmas Toy Run. Now in its 15th year, the Salvation Army Toy Run is scheduled to take place on Sunday December 1, and this year is set to include Southwell also in order to reach more people. Organisers are hoping that 200 or more bikers will be taking part in this year’s event, which sets off from the Waggon and Horses in Bleasby at 11am.
