On September 16, 2024, Sergiy Tereshchuk was appointed CTO of DVL Group, the combined platform of Datagroup-Volia-lifecell.
Experience in telecom
Sergiy has more than 20 years of international experience in developing strategic business interests of companies in the telecommunications sector and successfully managing and implementing projects in challenging market conditions in Europe and Central Asia, as well as in managing global and local teams and conducting commercial and technical negotiations with clients at various levels.
Prior to his new position, Mr. Tereshchuk served for two years as General Manager and Country Manager for Ericsson Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia. In this position, he was responsible for Ericsson’s operations in the three countries and business development strategies, as well as for establishing relationships with government agencies and key partners.
From 2014 to 2022, he served as CTO of Ericsson Ukraine and Central Asia and was responsible for the technology promotion strategy, development of operator networks, and implementation of key projects. In the period from 2005 to 2014, Sergiy Tereshchuk was the technical lead of the lifecell project at Ericsson Ukraine and implemented the technical and commercial strategy for developing cooperation with the company.
From 2003 to 2005, Sergiy was a project manager at ZTE Ukraine, where he planned and coordinated certification projects in cooperation with partners. In 2000, he began his professional career as Head of Satellite Network Operations at UkrSat.
DVL’s development prospects
HiTech Expert believes that the merger will contribute to the development of telecommunications in Ukraine. After all, two other competitors are currently actively promoting optical Internet services. Kyivstar has long owned fixed networks, while Vodafone acquired fiber optic operator Vega a year ago.
Sergiy Tereshchuk also sees his role as expanding the network, ensuring energy independence and introducing converged services.

There is a lot of work ahead, including ensuring the energy independence of the network, continuing to expand coverage, developing new technologies, as well as introducing new converged services and services with the best customer experience. Sergiy Tereshchuk graduated from the Kyiv National University of Civil Aviation and completed the Executive Program in Customer Experience at the London Business School in 2023.
