Audi holds the keys to one of the last vacant seats for 2025 and has now added a new name to the shortlist of drivers to possibly be Nico Hulkenberg’s teammate at Sauber. With current Sauber pilots Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu out of contract at the end of the year, Audi wants to establish a driver line-up that will carry into the Hinwil, Switzerland crew becoming its factory entry in 2026.
