Swedish Queen Silvia visited Germany on Wednesday for talks on violence against children. Silvia was received by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin, before taking part in a round table alongside Interior Minister Nancy Faeser and Family Minister Lisa Paus. The event was held to mark the 25th anniversary of the World Childhood Foundation, which Silvia co-founded in 1999 with the mission of helping children threatened by sexual abuse and violence.
