Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 19 (ANI): In a major success, Madhya Pradesh has topped in bamboo resources among all the states across the nation with having the highest bamboo bearing area of 1.84 million hectare of the total area estimated 15.0 million hectares in the country. According to the recent Indian Forest Survey Report (IFSR) 2021, Madhya Pradesh has a highest bamboo bearing area of 18,394 square kilometres followed by Arunachal Pradesh (15,739 sq km), Maharashtra (13,526 sq km) and Odisha (11,199 sq km).
