The address of Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena will be renamed Franz-Beckenbauer-Platz to honour the late Germany and club great, the city of Munich said on Thursday. The change will take place on January 7, 2025 – the one year anniversary of Beckenbauer’s death. Currently, the stadium is located at Werner-Heisenberg-Allee 25.
